This is an unusual piece for me in that it is purely abstract with no narrative focal point. No animal or bird or even prominent symbol. I think for that reason, I am both slightly uncomfortable with this piece and also unusually fond of it. I love the colors and the open use of decoupage and the words. Someone recently told me that my work feels like another language, like I am channeling a different language. If that is the case, this piece feels like a poem to me.
