The Center Holds – I used to have a plaque that read, “Don’t believe everything you think.” We over-value thought. Our brains are just wacky monkeys bouncing all over. Your mind is more mature. And your heart is the point of it all. Learn to feel. You have to feel it to heal it. Learn to value ALL of your emotions. Because the center holds. Your heart is where the good stuff lives. And you can trust that stuff. Your mind will mislead you. Your heart is always the truth. Go with that. I love the look of this one. That aged, weathered, rubbed-through, scratched-through, hints of what came before, messed up but beautiful kind of look is my favorite. Lots of layers here. Visible texture because the bottom layer is thicker acrylic. This one makes me especially happy.
